Government of Canada investment to support artificial intelligence and tech sector in Ottawa region
February 28, 2025 – Kanata, Ontario
The Honourable Jenna Sudds, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development and Member of Parliament for Kanata–Carleton, on behalf of the Honourable Ruby Sahota, Minister of Democratic Institutions and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, will make an important announcement to support artificial intelligence and tech businesses in the Ottawa region.
Minister Sudds will be joined by Yasir Naqvi, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health and to the Minister of Mental Health and Addictions and Associate Minister of Health and Member of Parliament for Ottawa Centre.
A media availability will follow the in-person announcement.
