Ontario college kicks off its largest capital project
The largest capital project in the history of Lambton College in Ontario is officially underway.
The new residence will be a five-storey building facing London Road at the north end of campus, in the green space east of the EarlyON Centre. It will be closely connected to the college’s buildings and will provide easy access to the campus grounds and trails.
Some features of the new residence include a mix of hybrid and apartment suites, kitchens, a micro market, study spaces, lounges and communal spaces, and an outdoor patio space.
The new residence is being developed through an innovative public-private partnership (P3) with Tilbury Properties Corporation and Fengate Asset Management, which will design, construct, finance, operate, and maintain it.
Teeple Architects will be completing the design. Ball Construction will oversee the build.
